Digital Transformation & Automation Specialist

We are seeking a Digital Transformation & Automation Specialist to help identify opportunities for improvement across the firm and implement practical technology solutions that support a more efficient and forward-looking workplace.

About the Role

Working closely with leadership and staff, this role will focus on improving internal systems, reducing manual processes and supporting the adoption of modern digital tools across the firm.

A key focus of the role will be helping the firm explore and implement AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, identifying practical ways these technologies can improve productivity, streamline workflows and enhance the way our team works.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced professional who is comfortable analysing business processes, designing solutions and working with staff across the organisation to implement improvements.

The successful candidate will take ownership of technology-driven process improvements and help guide the firm’s continued digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI and process improvement

  • Develop and maintain workflow automation and integrations across business systems

  • Assist with optimisation of Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Teams and related platforms

  • Support the rollout and adoption of AI tools including Microsoft Copilot

  • Build or maintain internal tools, scripts or utilities to improve workflows

  • Work with staff to identify practical use cases for AI-assisted workflows

  • Prepare documentation and provide guidance to support the rollout of new systems

  • Liaise with external IT providers where required

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools

  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate

  • Basic scripting capability (PowerShell, Python or similar)

  • Experience improving business processes or internal systems

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to translate technical solutions into practical improvements for staff

Experience within a professional services or accounting environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
